If you’ve live in a cold climate and have ever ridden in winter conditions you know it can be a whole different ballgame. The ground can freeze and change the behavior of the dirt causing traction of your tires to change. If you are unlucky you may even end up with snow and ice on the trail causing some slipping and sliding. All this cold even causes the bike suspension and other components to perform differently. Fluid just does not flow through suspension the same when its below freezing.
Ah…the things we do as mountain bikers just to get more time on the bike. Phil Kmetz of Skills with Phil knows this truth and hit up Highland Mountain Bike Park for one last hoorah before winter finally set in and the bike park closed for the season. Happy Thanksgiving!
